Stress Ball Madness

Today in class, we were talking about the different ways of managing emotions. 
We started focussing on anger and the different ways of positively dealing with feelings of anger.

One of the pupils suggested squeezing something, so we decided to make our own stress balls. We used balloons and filled them with flour. They were all different shapes and sizes because of the different variety of balloons.




We all had loads of personal strategies for dealing with feeling stressed, upset or angry. These included listening to music, lying down, looking out of the window, walking away to a quiet space and many many more.

We all made a deal at the end to try our hardest to be positive thinkers as we know the way we think impacts on how we feel and how we behave.
